Njordr AS, a leading Nordic developer of renewable energy, has divested the Finnish subsidiary Nordi Offshore Wind Oy, to an international renewable energy development company for an undisclosed amount.
The divestment follows the sale of Njordr Offshore Wind AB to Statkraft, Europe’s largest renewable energy producer, in September 2023. As part of that transaction, Nordi Offshore Wind was transferred to Njordr.
”This is Njordr’s second transaction with internationally recognized leaders within renewable energy within a short space of time and a further validation of our strategy and ability to realize significant value from taking early positions,” says Alf Enqvist, Chairman of Njordr.
Nordi Offshore Wind has no employees. The sale includes offshore wind power projects, permits, and reports related to licensing and development.
Njordr will continue to develop the company’s attractive 3 GW portfolio of land-based wind and solar projects, in combination with Battery Storage Systems (BESS), in Sweden and Finland.
